Barbara Calloway

Barbara Calloway is a mother, leader, prophetess, and preacher of God's word as well as an author of two best-selling books, Dear Female Preacher – 21 Things Every Female Preacher Should Know and Show Me the Evidence.

She was brought up in ministry under her parents’ tutelage, the late Supt. Edward Calloway, founder of Lighthouse COC, and her mother, the late Missionary Jacquelyn Calloway. At the tender age of fifteen, she preached her first sermon and has actively served in ministry in some capacity for over 30 years.

God has anointed her to travel around the world preaching biblical truth, repentance, and revival, and to unashamedly point people to the God of the Bible. Prayer is a vital part of Prophetess Calloway's ministry; thus, she founded The Spiritual Awakening International Prayer Call more than 15 years ago, and it has reached thousands of people on Tuesdays at 5 AM on her social media platforms with powerful testimonies confirming that prayer works.

She is a faithful member of The Potter's House of North Dallas under the dynamic leadership of Pastor Sheryl Brady and Bishop Joby Brady.

Prophetess Calloway's family brings much joy to her life. She is blessed to be the mother of two amazing adult children, Destinee and Jadell, and grandmother of her handsome grandson, Dallas. Her daily life reflects one who presses toward the mark, striving to please God in all that she does.
