Kismet Madison

Kismet Madison, a mother of 5, an enrolled agent, business owner, Evangelist Missionary for Church of GOD in Christ, and trainer for Soul Shop for Black Churches.

With over 20 years of experience in tax advisory, Kismet Madison, the dedicated owner of Mad Tax VA, transitioned from a 15-year career in bankruptcy law firms to specializing in taxes. Witnessing the costly mistakes individuals made and the exploitation by some preparers fueled her commitment to delivering exemplary service.

Soul Shop for Black Churches is a passion project.  Having dealt with family members who died by suicide and other that have contemplated it has given a determination to begin having the difficult discussions in our places of worship. 

 

The Soul Shop Movement is about equipping faith communities to recognize and respond to suicidal desperation and become sources of hope and connection.

 

The Black Churches program gears statistical information for the demographic. There are various other aspects of this program – Hispanic churches, Soul shop Africa, campus ministry, youth leaders, etc.
