Dr. Sherral Harding
Dr. Shérral Harding is a licensed professional counselor and approved LPC supervisor in the state of Virginia. She is the Founder and CEO of Mending Wellness, LLC, a private practice devoted to cultivating emotional healing and growth.
Dr. Harding began her academic journey at Virginia State University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She went on to obtain a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Regent University and later earned a PhD in Human and Social Services, with a concentration in Community Leadership and Intervention, from Walden University. Her doctoral research explored how Black adolescents from low-income backgrounds cope with depressive symptoms and adversity.
As a woman of faith, Dr. Harding brings both passion and purpose to her work, with over 12 years of experience in the mental health field. She specializes in trauma, anxiety, relationship challenges, and stress management. Her mission is deeply rooted in reducing mental health stigma in Black and Brown communities while creating restorative spaces for healing.

Beyond the therapy room, Dr. Harding serves as a clinical trainer, equipping individuals and mental health professionals with tools to better understand trauma and care for their own well-being. As a consultant, she helps organizations design and strengthen their clinical programs and operational processes. She is also an inspirational speaker who finds joy in creating spaces where individuals can release, heal, and reset.Dr. Harding is an active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and a dedicated volunteer with the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). Through empowerment, education, and advocacy, she remains committed to making a lasting impact in the lives of individuals and communities across the globe.
